About Corey
Welcome to the Literacy Studio! My name is Corey Reschke and I am a credentialed elementary teacher,with a masters in Reading, Language, and Literacy. I am a mother of two, and a literacy specialist in Southern California. I have been teaching for over 13 years, in grades TK- 6th. I have taught in public schools, private schools, homeschool partnerships, individualized homeschooling, tutoring, and more. My experience is broad which allows me the ability to truly individualize education for each student. I have spent years assisting families with curriculum choices as well as helping them to foster education to meet their children's specific needs. My heart desires that ALL children achieve literacy.
Our Approach
I believe that literacy is essential for success in life and am dedicated to providing the best possible literacy education to my students. I work with each student to develop a customized literacy plan that meets their unique needs. I celebrate the uniqueness of each learner and their literacy needs and strengths, rejecting a one-size-fits-all approach. My aim is to help my students achieve their literacy goals and become confident, successful readers and writers. At The Literacy Studio, every child falls in love with words!
